Overview
The Tomato is a rare, multi-harvest crop in Grow a Garden. Known for its tall plant size and bright red fruits, it belongs to the Vegetable, Leafy, and Summer crop types. Because of this, it is influenced by items or events that affect any of those categories. Tomatoes are one of the first rare seeds available in the Seed Shop, making them a valuable addition for advanced gardeners.
About the Tomato
Tomato plants are capable of growing very tall, sometimes even reaching the height of a Coconut tree. Their height directly impacts yield, as taller plants are able to produce more fruits. When fully grown, a single harvest will yield at least two Tomatoes, with larger plants producing more.
Tomatoes also hold a special achievement for dedicated players — harvesting a Tomato weighing 7kg or more grants the GIANT TOMATO badge.
