As one of the rarest crops, acquiring a Pitcher Plant seed is a true challenge. Here are the methods:

• Summer Seed Merchant: Has an extremely low 0.45% chance to appear, costing 7,500,000 Sheckles or 715 Robux.
• Lucky Harvest: May occasionally drop as a rare bonus while harvesting other plants.
• Animal Companions: Rarely, Snails, Dogs, or other digging pets may unearth a seed.
• Red Fox: A thieving Red Fox may steal a Pitcher Plant, providing a chance to recover the seed.

The plant grows as a single stem with sharp leaves at its apex. The produce is a tubular, yellow-green pitcher with a dark red peristome (rim) and a hanging lid. Its seed displays a gradient from yellow-green to bright orange, with a red leaf on top, reminiscent of the Feijoa seed.
